Financial Coaching.

If you live paycheck-to-paycheck, then it’s a wise decision to get financial coaching. A coach can give you the guidance and support to change your money habits. You might not need financial coaching if you already built up enough savings and have a plan to eliminate and stay out of debt.

Financial coaching is working with a personal coach to get to know you and your family’s money habits. Your coach then helps you learn good habits, and gives you accountability and support to put your plan into action.

A financial coaching program focuses on topics such as eliminating and staying out of debt, saving for emergencies, basics of investing and retirement planning. Our goal is to help you be confident with money and enjoy life without financial stress. You work hard for your money, you shouldn’t have to worry about it.

The best time to start is when you are earning money. It’s smart to get financial coaching as early as you can. The younger you are, the less bad habits you’ll form and the easier it will be to build a strong foundation for your financial goals.

As your needs change over time, you can change your coaching to planning. When you are saving consistently and begin investing, it’s important to also learn how to plan for retirement through different strategies for tax and estate planning.

Typically, most personal bankers do not offer financial coaching and only work with individuals that have an existing amount of savings already sitting in their bank account. The financial coaches at Bright Financial are trained to help you despite the amount of savings you have.

At Bright Financial, we believe financial coaching should be affordable. It starts at $100 per month.

Non-payment forces us to cancel your program. We don’t want to do that, so we offer a sixty-day grace period. If payment is still not received in the grace period, we’ll have no other choice than to stop your coaching.

We create a personalized plan to meet with your coach up to 4 sessions per month. Our goal is to change your money habits and we want to meet you as often as you need.

There are a few factors to consider when determining the length of coaching. Most clients work with a coach for at least a year, and we set the expectation that this work takes at minimum 12-18 months.

Changing your relationship and behaviors around money takes time, and needs to be approached in years, not months.

Financial Planning.

If you would like to learn how to implement tax-saving strategies, invest better and be confident with your retirement, then it’s a wise decision to get financial planning. A planner can give you the guidance and support to navigate the complex world of investing, retirement, tax and estate planning.

From budgeting to planning for retirement, to saving for education, to managing your taxes and your insurance coverage, “finances” doesn’t mean just one thing—and “financial planning” means much more than just investing.

Financial planning takes the guesswork out of managing your finances and helps you understand the implications of each financial decision you make. Everyone has different goals, so it’s important to have a unique plan that works for your financial situation.

The best time to start financial planning is when you are starting to save money consistently. You want to make sure you get financial advice to reach your goals faster. Getting financial planning when you need it is like waiting for the flood to come before you get insurance.

Oftentimes not. Many people are surprised to learn that the financial professional with their employer doesn’t give much advice beyond investing. A financial planner can help you look at your children’s education fund, implement tax saving strategies and review estate planning.

At Bright Financial, we believe financial planning should be affordable. It starts at $200 per month.

70% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, 52% have less than $10,000 saved for retirement and 64% can’t cover a $1,000 emergency. Unless you have zero debt, saved enough for retirement, or have a sizable emergency fund, you will need these programs.

Bright Financial has partnered with the National Financial Educators Council to certify our financial coaches. Also, all Bright Financial experts are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals or Series 65 licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Bright Financial is the first organization to offer education, coaching, and planning for every stage of your personal finances, all in one place.

You can get personal finance education, talk to a financial coach and plan for retirement all within a few clicks on the computer.

This represents a major change in the financial industry. With other companies, you usually need to read their blogs for educational content and work with a credit counselor to help manage your money and debt. And then if you have enough money saved, you’ll be working with a different financial advisor to help you with your investments.

As a non-profit organization, our goal is to constantly improve our operations to offer free educational courses, affordable financial coaching programs, and world-class financial planning services to you and your family.

Customer Support Without a Hidden Agenda

You can always reach out to one of our financial coaches or planners if you have questions at any point. That’s another thing that makes Bright Financial different: our team is salaried employees, not commissioned sales agents, so you can trust they have your best interests at heart.
